I had to go back and do some strong kneading for several mintues to get the clay ready for play.
Exploring, poking, rolling, flattening...

You can't have playclay without breaking out the cookie cutters!



Then we began printmaking with leaves.



And even make a few lil' animals.

Was testing to see if I could use this playclay for an upcoming art playdate I'm hosting with the O'Mamas
'art-group'. These turned out, however, I think we're still going to try the Scupley just so we can get a more smooth finish with the artwork.

I totally need to get my lazy tush in gear and make this stuff .. reading your blog always makes me realize what a lazy mommy I am! :)
Don't be silly Vick! You have to remember that I have my little esculita here and so it forces me to do these typs of activities with the tots.
