...to receive words of encouragement in their lunch boxes.
Domi is starting his 2nd week of high school marching camp and it's intense with this 100+ degree Texas heat. But somehow, they survive it.

Awwww I'm almost 38, and I'd love a note like that!
You're such a loving and awesome Mama...the best part is that Domi knows what he has in you :)
That is so sweet! What a lucky boy he is!
I think you are right. You are never too old to get a note in your lunch box. You are so thoughtful!!
Nope, they're never too old. They are our babies forever. It's a little thing, but it'll mena a lot to him. Good luck to Domi this week!
That's so sweet, what an awesome mama. Sometimes, every rare blue moon, I try to leave one like that on Gabe's coffeemaker or on his windshield. I need to do that more often though. Thanks for the reminder :)
love the angle of the shot and the great note!
So true...
Awww...that's so sweet! You are great Mama!
You should have a medal or something for being such a great mom. Love the shot.
what a nice surprise with lunch! i wouldn't mind getting one of those. :)
what a great little note. even i wish sometimes that someone else would make my lunch just so i could get notes!
Oh, that is awesome! These Texas summers are killer, aren't they? Can't wait for it to cool off a bit!!
You are so stinkin' cute. I really believe in the little notes, too. He'll always remember that stuff.
My mother put notes in my lunch box up until my last days of high school! I love her so much for it...among so many of the other reasons that I appreciate her, not just as a mother, but as a woman. I just sent her a link to this so she could check it out. I am her last, so she has been an "empty nester" for about 6 years now. And I just know that she will love that some mothers out there still do this for the babies!
You are an A-mazing mother! I look up to you in so many ways!
